The Benefits of Dermaplaning
Say goodbye to waxing and tweezing! Dermaplaning painlessly removes that irritating and embarrassing peach fuzz that causes your makeup to stick to it and that stands out in harsh lighting and in selfies. This treatment has the added benefits of helping your skin to better absorb skincare products and makes your skin smoother so that your makeup will glide on and appear more natural. Dermaplaning is also a great way to prepare your skin for more intrusive procedures such as a chemical peel.
What is the Difference between Dermaplaning and Microdermabrasion?
Both treatments exfoliate the skin. However, the way that they exfoliate is very different. Microderms suction dead skin cells, which also helps to uproot clogged pores around the nose, mouth and chin. Dermaplaning safely scrapes off the top layer of skin. Both of these treatments are a good fit if you are looking for skin renewal and resurfacing treatments.
Simultaneously exfoliate your skin, extract dirt and oil from your pores, and infuse condition-specific serums deep into your skin when it is at its most receptive. Each serum is a specifically formulated, professional strength Pro-Infusion serum. There are treatments for brighter skin, reducing dark spots and wrinkles, deep pores, or dull, dry, rough and lifeless skin.

This more intense method of Micro-Needling incorporates radio frequency (RF) energy. The RF energy heats the underlying layers of skin causing the treated tissue to constrict and tighten. This treatment stimulates the production of collagen and elastin and has been shown to improve your skin’s appearance faster than traditional Micro-Needling procedures. PRP combined with RF Micro-Needling further enhances the results of both procedures.

It helps to tighten and smooth the skin for better texture and tone. Micro-Needling is done in a series of 3-6 treatments with each treatment spaced about one month apart.
